A dark background, like you did with this [link], may make it look more complete, but it looks very good just as it is too. :)

Beautiful drawing :) Although I'm not sure if it would work with a dark background because of the hair.

That's my biggest concern. That hair took quite a while, I don't want to mess it up by putting in a dark background and then have it not work out. Can't undo the background. >.O
